The flow resistance of the angle valve is small, and the flow coefficient is larger than that of the single seat valve, which is equivalent to the flow coefficient of the double seat valve.
Angle valves are suitable for pipes with high viscosity, containing suspended solids and granular fluids, or where right-angle piping is required.
The flow direction of the angle valve is generally bottom in and side out. In special cases, it can be reversed, that is, flow direction side in and bottom out.
